Lakeville Man Lived High Life with Client's Money, State Says

Robert Dunham's debt collector business also owed money to the IRS and for state unemployment insurance.

A Lakeville resident is facing civil charges brought against him by the Minnesota Department of Commerce.

Robert Dunham is said to have spent money from clients of his debt collection companies on trips to foreign countries, season tickets to Minnesota Twins, resorts, and other personal expenses, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported

According to the paper: "Dunham's companies are accused of having their own large debts, including $150,000 to the IRS and $91,000 for Minnesota unemployment insurance. Meanwhile, Dunham was allegedly tapping his business's debt-repayment trust funds and living large."

His companies, Receivables Management Solutions and Wentworth Assets, were based in West St. Paul and South St. Paul.
