Lakeville Home Suffers Severe Damage from Early-Morning Fire

The Lakeville Fire Department responded to a house fire early Monday morning.

A Lakeville home received significant damage after a fire broke early Monday morning.

The Lakeville Fire Department responded at 1:44 a.m. to the house fire at 11901 Knolls Path. Lakeville Police reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the second story of the house, according to the City of Lakeville's Facebook page

One occupant received a minor burn injury. There were two adults and six children in the home at the time of the fire, according to Kare 11.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
