Lakeville Fire Department Calls: Sept. 23-29
The fire department took 13 calls, including one vehicle accident.
The Lakeville Fire Department responded to 13 calls for service from Sept. 23-29.
According to the statistics report on the Lakeville Fire Department website, the calls consisted of the following:
- 3 medicals
- 1 motor vehicle accident with injuries
- 1 smoke/odor removal
- 1 excessive heat with no ignition
- 2 false alarms
- 5 good intents
The fire prevention tips of the week are Halloween related, including a reminder that even flame-retardant costumes should be kept away from heat sources and open flame. Suggested homemade costume materials are those made of 100% polyester or modacrylics because these materials are less flammable.
