The victim told police he could identify the suspects if he saw them again, and he was taken to a location where the Turners had been stopped. The victim identified Daquan Turner as the man who asked him the question and took the money from him, and Antonio Turner as the “lookout.”

Employees at a nearby store told police that the two had bought cigarettes that evening using a $20 bill.

Daquan Turner told police that he and his brother planned to meet the victim to buy $20 worth of marijuana, and that they completed the deal. He said he realized later that he needed more “blunts,” so he returned to the store and made a second purchase, but he denied taking money or drugs from the victim or making any threats.

Antonio Turner also told police that he and his brother planned to buy marijuana from the victim, but he wouldn’t say whether the sale was completed. He said, “I think my brother took the 20 dollars.”
