FIRE REPORT: Be Safe Indoors This Summer

Here is this week's Lakeville Fire Department fire report.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The following information is from the Lakeville Fire Department:

WEEKLY FIRE ACTIVITY:

From June 3 to June 9, the Lakeville Fire Department responded to 16 calls for service: 3 medicals, 3 motor vehicle accidents (2 w/injuries), 2 gas leaks, 5 false alarms and 3 good intents. 

FIRE PREVENTION TIPS:

Indoor Safety Tips—Unplug appliances and other electrical items, like computers, and turn off air conditioners. If you are unable to unplug them, turn them off. Stay off corded phones, computers, and other electronic equipment that put you in direct contact with electricity and plumbing. Avoid washing your hands, bathing, doing laundry, or washing dishes.
