Felony Charge Pending Against Man Involved In Dakota County Standoff
Tyrone Joseph Mohr, 34, was arrested shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday by the Dakota Countty Sheriff's Department after a seven-hour standoff at a home north of Northfield.
The 34-year-old man who allegedly took part in a standoff with police Saturday north of Northfield is scheduled make his first appearance in Dakota County District Court on Tuesday.
Tyrone Joseph Mohr was arrested by the Dakota County Sheriff’s Department at roughly 1 p.m. Saturday. A charge of felony terroristic threats is pending against him.
As of Sunday afternoon, Mohr was being held in the Dakota County Jail awaiting his first court appearance, which is scheduled at noon Tuesday.

The jail’s inmate search web page says he also is being held on $35,000 bond for a charge of felony terroristic threats in Hennepin County.
According to the Pioneer Press, sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault in a home along 315th Street West, just west of Highway 3 about 10 minutes north of Northfield, at about 5 a.m. Saturday. Mohr allegedly was at the home at that time, but would not communication with law enforcement.

Officers with Dakota County’s Multi-Agency Assistance Group—also known as the county’s SWAT team—helped negotiate an end to the standoff. Officers from Lakeville were on the scene for the standoff.
