Dumb Criminal: Drunk Driver Parks on Lakeville Grocery Store Sidewalk
Witnesses said that the two men, who appeared intoxicated, were loud and swearing as they were walking into the store.
Officer Jai Hanson responded to a report of a vehicle parked on the sidewalk in front of a large grocery store one evening this week.
When he arrived at the location, Officer Hanson observed the car parked on the sidewalk and spoke with a witness who told him that two men got out of the parked car and went into the store. The witness said that the two men, who appeared intoxicated, were loud and swearing as they were walking into the store.
Because of their loud and boisterous behavior, it did not take Officer Hanson long to locate the two subjects in the store. Officer Hanson was unable to determine which of the men drove the vehicle, but based upon their intoxicated behavior in the store, cited them for disorderly conduct and placed them in the detox center. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
