Dumb Criminal: Car Crash Leads to More Trouble for Lakeville Man

Officer Chad Loeffler responded to a minor motor vehicle crash one rainy night recently involving two vehicles. When he arrived, Officer Loeffler found that one vehicle slid into the back of another vehicle causing minor damage.

The driver of the vehicle that had been struck told Officer Loeffler that the other driver had asked her not to call the police. Officer Loeffler soon found out why the second driver didn’t want the police notified of the crash as his driver’s license was not valid due to previous violations.

Officer Loeffler issued the driver a citation for not having a valid license and also for failing to drive with due care. The errant driver had no one to blame but himself.
