Dumb Criminal: 7 Citations in Year Leads and Jail for Lakeville Man
A driver was given a citation for Driving after Suspension of Driving Privileges—his seventh in a year. Oh, and he went to jail.
Officer Brad Wubben stopped a vehicle recently while on patrol because it had no license plate and a loud exhaust.
Officer Wubben walked up to the car and identified the driver from his driver’s license. A computer check revealed that the driver’s license was suspended. In further checking on the driver’s history, Officer Wubben found that the driver had been cited three times in 2011 for Driving after Suspension of Driving Privileges and an additional three times in 2012 for the same offense.
Officer Wubben issued a citation to the habitual violator and placed him in the Dakota County Jail, since this was his seventh violation in the past 12 months.
