Former Lakeville Firefighter, Board and Council Member Passes Away
LeRoy Michael Kehrer was also a 1945 Lakeville High School graduate.
LeRoy Michael Kehrer passed away on Oct. 10 at age 86.
He was a 1945 Lakeville High School graduate and was very involved in the Lakeville community. He served as a Lakeville firefighter for 36 years, and he served on the Lakeville city council, school board and as a 20-year member of the Knights of Columbus, according to his obituary on White Funeral Homes.
Kehrer is described in the obituary as someone who had a "twinkle in his eye" and an "infectious smile."
The Mass of Christian Burial occurred at All Saints Catholic Church on Oct. 15.
