The Vikings lost a heartbreaker to the Buccaneers 24-20. Tampa Bay outscored us 24-3 in the second half. In the first half the Vikings were dominating but the second half was a different story.
The defense looked very good in the first half, but imploded in the second half. The Buc's also did a surprise onside kick in the second half, that set up another scoring drive. The Vikings scored a field goal in the second half, but allowed LeGarrette Blount to score on a four yard run with 31 seconds left. The ensuing kickoff looked promising for the Vikes but Percy Harvin squandered the opportunity with a muff. The Vikes were unable to move the ball down the field and set their record at 0-2.
Next week really doesn't look any better against the Lions who are putting up big points. I expect the Vikings to be 0-3 after three weeks.
