South Creek Tree Planting

Help plant trees along Lakeville's South Creek, a tributary to the Vermillion River. Planting trees will help stabilize the eroding banks, which will reduce the amount of soil and sediment impairing water quality and wildlife habitat. The trees also will provide additional habitat and eventually shade to keep the water cool and protect the river's cold-water trout fishery.

There is not an actual address or park name for this natural area, but it is roughly a half hour from Mpls/St. Paul from the north and Hastings from the east. All registrants will be emailed detailed directions to the meeting spot.

Registration is required. More info & registration instructions are available here
