2014 Mankato Mud Run is the most challenging mud and obstacle course
yet! Many new obstacles! Choose our 3K or 5K course for the Kids race,

The
Mankato Mud Run is the only family friendly mud run that we are aware
of! We don't have electrocutions or fire! It is made for adults, and
kids and families too! The Mankato Mud Run has a difficult 5k for
extreme racers, but also 5k and 3k family friendly races, as well as

For 2014, the Mankato Mud Run will have 3
Mud Pits or more, a crazy creek run with tunnel, 2 long steep hills, a
climbing wall, climbing nets, cars to run over, and many other new, fun
obstacles! There is a challenging 5k course with 2 large hills (3.1
Miles) as well as a more friendly 3k course (1.6 miles with only 1 hill)
so that everyone can participate. Racing is encourage, but walking is
also permitted. There is a Costume Contest too!

The Mankato Mud run has competitive races with prize money and trophies, including the Elite Race
All 5K races will be timed. Note: The 3K is NOT timed.
All Entrants receive Race Shirts, Goodie Bags, and Finisher Medals.
Race proceeds go to local charities.

Kids Races: There is a
Kid's Race at the 3K distance. Parents are allowed to go free with
their children if they want, as chaperones. Parents who do this don't
get tshirts, medals or goodie bags though. The Kids Race goes first, so
parents can go with their children in this race, and then race in the
adult races later. Kids can go in the 3k Open or 5k open too, if they
wish.

Team and Company Races: There
are Team and Company Races at 3k and 5k distances, with awards at the
5K distance. Team may consist of 3 - 16 members. The top 3 team
finishers in the 5K team race will count for the team time, and must
come in together.
What if I can't do an Obstacle? Don't worry! If you can't do an obstacle, you will be allowed to do 10 pushups instead. Many folks have a fear of the tunnels, and can't do them. No problem!

Registration Cost:
See website for prices. Prices start at $25 for adults and $15 for kids until Jan. 1, but keep going up. So register early!
*Note - we sold out last year long before race day!
Parking Parking costs $5.00 and all parking proceeds go to charity. Parking on the hill is limited so please carpool!
