Expressions

Lakeville Community Theater opens its 2014 season with the comedy The

Dixie Swim Club
.

The
story centers around five unforgettable women who get together

annually over a span of 33 years at the same beach cottage on the

Outer Banks of North Carolina. As their lives unfold and the years

pass, they increasingly rely on one another. Together, through advice

and raucous repartee, they tackle life’s many challenges—marriage,

parenting, divorce and aging. The
Dixie Swim Club

is a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last
forever.

The
show, written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten,

features a cast of five very funny ladies: Beth Adams (Jeri Neal

McFeeley), Susan Dempsey (Sheree Hollinger), Rosi Braatz (Vernadette

Simms), Deb Klingberg (Dinah Grayson), and Bonnie Rae Backer (Lexi

Richards). The production is directed by Annie Estes and is assisted

by a fun and talented crew!
