2013 Lakeville Levy Referendum Passes
Voters said "yes" to the levy referendum in Lakeville.
Voters said “yes” to the Lakeville Area Public Schools (District 194) levy referendum. The vote was 68 percent yes and 32 percent no.
The $5.6 million levy will be in effect for 10 years. The district will use funds from the levy to fill a $4 million budget shortfall, reduce some class sizes and increase funding for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) classes.
