The week started out a bit slowly, but on Monday night, Lakeville's City Council made some news at its work session when Council member Kerrin Swecker announced she had changed her mind and wanted to place the vacant police station on the market after all. Shannah Henderson, a 2008 graduate made headlines on Tuesday when it came to light that she was among 50 finalists to become Charlie Sheen's "Tigerblood" social media intern. The self-described “Sheeniac," Henderson said Sheen was "admirable" and she's taking the prospect of being his intern very seriously. .

On Wednesday, Patch had a story about Principal Jan Heuman who is leaving the school after 10 years at the institution. She's moving on to become the principal at Oakdale's Transfiguration Catholic School. about her decision.
