Sprint Voice Outage Impacts Customers in Lakeville, Twin Cities
The outage occurred Saturday morning.
Sprint customers in Lakeville reported voice outages on Saturday morning. The voice outage also affected other areas in the Twin Cities, KSTP reported.
The outage affected only voice service and lasted from 2.5 to 3 hours, a Sprint spokeswoman told Patch. Data and text messaging were not affected in the outage, which was due to a fiber cut in Minnesota.
On Saturday morning, there were over 200 reports on downdetector.com from customers experiencing problems, according to KSTP.
