Report: Lakeville's Comfort Inn Sold to New Owner

Sunny Bhakta, who has owned Lakeville's Comfort Inn for the past seven years, has sold the hotel.

Sun Thisweek reports Bhakta, a Lakeville resident, has sold the 54-room hotel to Arpan Patel, a Bloomington resident who has previously operated a 48-room Super 8 hotel in Jackson, MN.

The report says Patel is owner of Sohan Hospitality LLC, and a broker originally alerted him that Bhakta was looking to sell.

Bhakta also owns the Budget Host Inn in Owatonna. 

Patel told Sun Thisweek he doesn't plan to make major changes, and plans to use the business model Bhakta established.
