Lakeville Area Chamber Events for Upcoming Week

Breakfast with U.S. Rep. John Kline postponed due to Washington debt ceiling talks.

After the Lakeville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted last week to discuss issues surrounding the state shutdown, chamber members were to get a chance to hear the latest news on a national level from U.S. Representative John Kline during the South of the River Chambers of Commerce Breakfast Tuesday, July 19 at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club.

That event has been postponed. An August date is being looked at for rescheduling but no details were currently available.

The event was to be held from 7-9 a.m. but Kline will have to remain in Washington, D.C., due to the cancellation of the scheduled recess as legislators there grapple with a solution to the debt ceiling.
