After 53 Years Cutting Hair in Lakeville, Bud Mohn Retires

Bud, who grew up in Lakeville, bought his first and only barber chair in 1958.

Local barber Reuben "Bud" Mohn officially retired on Oct. 27, after 53 years of serving customers in his shop in downtown Lakeville.

Bud, who grew up in Lakeville, bought his first and only barber chair in 1958 and opened a barber shop the following year. He sold his shop, now called TR's Barber Shop, to fellow barber Tom Rice who, along with barber Tracy Henry, will continue operating the business.
