Only a couple days to go before the big Holiday Weekend.  I hope we have good weather for all the outdoor gatherings. 

Be aware Twin Cities people, we are under a flash flood warning for the next few days.  They are predicting heavy rains for the next couple of days.  

I dropped my husband at the airport this morning.  He is flying to Arizona for a few weeks.  He is going to get our motorhome ready for this summer's grand journey.  He will drive it to Minnesota and we will leave from here.  I will post pictures and updates along the way.  The plan right now is to meet our friends in Montana and attend a music festival.  From there we will go to Banf & Lake Louise with a stop in Edmonton to visit some friends. 

As some of you may know, we have a home in Lake Havasu City, AZ.  It is a great place to vacation.  There are lots of fun things to do there, great restaurants and the sunsets are amazing.  Here is a link to the Go Lake Havasu website.  Check it out!

Here is an article about photographing shots with reflections.  This is a really cool way to make your picture more interesting.   There are some great examples of reflection shots as well.

This article stirred up some great memories for me.  It is about Australia from a Photographer's perspective.  I have been fortunate enough to have been to Australia twice.  Both trips were awesome.  It is a beautiful country with the nicest people.  The last shot at the end of the article is my favorite.  Enjoy!

Here is today's How I Shoot It photo.  It is an example of a reflections shot as well.  This was shot with my Olympus E510 SLR Camera, at F22, 1.3 Second and ISO 100.  For the night shots you must use a tripod and use an off camera trigger or use your camera's timer.
