Beautiful Day here in Minnesota.  It is sunny and warm.  The high today is supposed to be 80 degrees which is perfect for me.  Love it! 

I had dinner with one of my friends who I used to work with.  Her daughter is getting married in Jamaica this summer.  My daughter had her wedding in Jamaica as well.  Destination weddings are a great option for many couples.  Many of the All Inclusive Resorts offer free weddings.  They really do a good job making the wedding a memorable occasion.  The couples get great Wedding Photos by the Ocean and on the resort grounds.  What we did is paid extra to have the ceremony filmed and we had it running on a TV at the reception so the guests were able to see it.  It was the most stresss free wedding of the six weddings of our kids.   Please feel free to contact me if you would like more information.

Here is an article about getting your kids involved in Photography.  This is something that is near and dear to my heart.  I have done this with my Grandkids.  They got cameras for birthdays and Christmas at very young ages.  We would have a Photography Contest at Christmas.  I would give them each a disposable camera and a list of categories at our annual Christmas celebration.  It kept them busy and I would get some great pictures and some not so great too.

Here is an article I read in the The Costco Connection magazine.  It is about taking advantage of photo opportunities in your area.  I know I love to travel and take pictures along the way but the reality is we are at home more than we are away and we may be missing out on some opportunites for great shots right in our own community.
