Thursday Thoughts

Happy Thursday everyone.  It is yet another sunny day here in Minnesota today but the wind is really wicked.  It is supposed to be 80 degrees today which is good. 

Have you ever put something away for safe keeping and then forgot where you put it?  Well, that is the situation at our house right now.  I have racked my brain and searched everywhere.  I did find some other things I have been looking for though.  It is really frustrating!

Here is an article about what is called Panning.  It is a great technique for photographing sporting events.  Since I do not go to a lot of this type of event, I have not tried this but it looks really cool.  I might be inticed to go to a race just to give this technique a try.

Here is an article that discusses the million dollar question of what distinguishes one Photographer from another.  If you get a diffinitive answer to this let me know.  The problem with any type of art is that it is totally subjective.  I have seen many "famous" works of art that I did not like.  I think if it is pleasing to your eye than it is a success.

If you are a music lover like me, you will like this article.  I suppose I am the only person who did not know that there were all of these free websites that you can listen to music on your computer.  Too cool!

I heard today that Donna Summers passed away at the age of only 63 years old.  She was a great artist and I spent a lot of time dancing to her music at the Discos in the 70's.  Rest In Peace Donna.
