Sunny Sunday Blog

A Blog About My Life, Photography & Travel

It has been a busy weekend for us.  Granddaughter, Jordynn, had her Graduation party on Saturday.  It was a great success and we managed to avoid any significant rainfall so that was a bonus.  I will post some photos when I can.

Please say a prayer for my friend, Kathy's son, Chad.  He was in a motorcycle accident last week.  He is in the hospital with brain injuries.  I always try to look closely when you are driving because those motorcycles are hard to see sometimes.

Here is an article about how to take your Photography to a higher level.  It takes a lot of practice and studying to stand out from all the other Photographers.

On that same note here is an article about how to make your landscape shots stand out.  The two things that I have learned that have helped me the most is to get down low when you are shooting and to use a Polarizer to get the more vibrant colors in your shots.

Here is the How I Took It Photo.  It is one I took in Colorado last fall when were visiting my friend.  We took a tour of an old Gold Mine and this was sitting outside.  I love old rusty stuff.  I took this my Olympus 1020 Point & Shoot camera, F3.7, 1/500th of a second, ISO 80, handheld.
