My First Blog!

My name is Becky McGuire.  This is my first blog.  I will be sharing my life as well as photography and travel tips and tricks. 

My husband, Tim and I have 6 grown children and 14 grandchildren so there is never a dull moment in our family. 

I am a independent Travel Consultant specializing in Vacation Travel.  I started in the Travel Industry in 1990.  Working in the Travel Industry has allowed me to travel to many different countries.  I have been to Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Great Britain, France, Spain, Monaco, Italy, Turkey, Croatia, Greece, Mexico, Jamaica, Aruba, Grand Cayman, San Juan, St. Thomas, Curacao, Barbados and Margarita Island.  Whew!

I have been fortunate to be able to see a lot of the United States as well.  I still have many places left on my "Bucket List".    One of my favorite place in the US is Washington, DC.  It is a fascinating city.

My husband bought a Motorhome in 2009 and we have been travel around the country and meeting some great people.  I am not a "Camping Person" but I have been trying to be a good sport about it.   I must admit it is a lot more fun to go with other people.   Motorhoming (is that a word?) has provided me with a lot of Photo Ops which has been fun.

I am the co owner of Miracole's Candy Shoppe in Downtown Lakeville, MN.  I must admit that I never thought I would own a Candy Store but it has been a lot of fun.  We bought the store in August of 2011 and have transformed it into an old time candy store.  We have wonderful hand made candies as well as many of the vintage candy brands.  We do custom candy baskets and take special orders.  For more information check us out at www.miracolescandyshoppe.com and on Facebook.

My newest venture is a Photo Studio rental facility in Downtown Lakeville, MN.  We opened in Janary of 2012 and I have been working hard on marketing.   This was an idea inspired by a rental space we had empty and my love of photography.  It is called Inside The Frame Studios.  We offer Photo Studio Rentals to Amateurs as well as Professional Photographers.  I am working on offering Photography Classes as well.  Our website is www.insidetheframestudios.com and we do have a Facebook Page.
