Busy Day Blog

A Blog About My Life, Travel & Photography.

Today is a busy day.  I am busy packing the Motorhome so we can leave tomorrow at O Dark Hundred for our 2 month adventure.  I am not sure how the internet access will be so if you don't hear from me you know I am in a dead zone.  I will be blogging and posting pictures on Facebook along the way.  I will miss all my family & friends in Minnesota but I am looking forward to visiting friends and family along the way.

My Blog has now well over a thousand page views which is very exciting for me.  Thank you all for your support.  It means a lot to me.  Please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions.

I think I have my Sprint internet access problem solved.  It has been quite frustrating.  I, also, upgraded my phone to an IPhone so I am trying to figure out how to use it now.

I found another product from Africa that works really well.  It is African Black Soap.  It is made with palm ash, tamarind extract, tar & plantain peel.  It works well for Eczema, Acne, Psorisis and most skin ailments.  You can even use it to wash your hair.  They sell it on a number of different websites.  I got mine from Sheer Treasures.

In honor of the up coming 4th of July celebrations, here are a couple of links to Fireworks tutorials.  These are just a guide.  You will have to play around with your settings before you get the results you want.  To get you started here is how I would shoot it:  Manual Mode, ISO 100-200, no flash, use a tripod, use off camera release or in camera timer, F22, 5 second exposure.

Today's How I Took It Photo was taken in Red Wing Minnesota last week.  I shot this with my Olympus E 510 SLR Camera, Manual Mode, F6.3, 1/400 second, ISO 100, Handheld.
