Giant Step Theatre To Present "Mission to Shadow Mountain"

Giant Step Theatre’s fall play, "Mission to Shadow Mountain," will open at Lakeville Area Arts Center on Thursday, October 20 and play for twelve performances over two weekends. In typical Giant Step style, the production involves lots of humor, music and colorful characters.   

The energetic story line involves a struggle between the Gleffens and the dracken which terrorizes them.  The small party of Gleffens sent out to defeat the dracken experiences a number of exciting adventures on their way to the dracken's lair on Shadow Mountain.  The play is written for a broad audience; it will appeal to everyone from preschoolers to senior citizens.  

Performance dates are: Thursday, October 20 (1:30 and 7:00 pm); Friday, October 21 (1:30 and 7:00 pm); Saturday, October 22 (2:00 and 7:00 pm); Sunday, October 23 (2:00 pm); Friday, October 28 (7:00 pm); Saturday, October 29 (2:00 and 7:00 pm) and Sunday, October 30 (2:00 and 6:00 pm).  Lakeville Area Arts Center is located at Holyoke Ave at 210th St. in downtown Lakeville. 

Tickets for Giant Step Theatre performances are available for $6 at the Arts Center and at Lakeville Area Schools Community Education, 8755 Upper 208th St. in downtown Lakeville.  Remaining tickets can be purchased at the door for $8.
