Book Sale - Friends of the Heritage Library Annual Book Sale

Please join the Friends of the Heritage Library for the Friends annual book sale beginning Thursday, September 15, and ending with the ever popular bag sale Sunday, September 18.

Funds raised by the Friends through dues and book sale are donated for such activities as Winter Jackets, El Dia de Los Ninos, and author appearances, as well as One Book, One Lakeville events. Book lovers who join the Friends during the sale receive a Friends volunteer t-shirt with paid dues of $20.

This year the Friends are also inviting members of the public to volunteer for two-hour shifts of pre-sale set up and for the sale. If you've been looking for a chance to meet some fun people, get excellent book recommendations and a preview of the books to be sold, this is a great opportunity! Email info@heritagelibraryfriends.com or visit www.heritagelibraryfriends.com for more information.

The Friends of the Heritage Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 2006 to support the library and the community financially and by volunteering in areas such as literacy efforts, homebound resident outreach and author events. The Friends sponsor an annual book sale in September; Lakeville's community wide read, One Book, One Lakeville in February; and many other offerings throughout the year. The Friends also hold member social gatherings such as trips to MN History Theater, wine tastings and Laughter Yoga.
