2011 People's Fair

Lakeville North High School- FREE ADMISSION!!

 The People’s Fair is an opportunity for families, friends and neighbors to enjoy music, dance, exhibits, food, art, and games that reflect many diverse ethnicities and other unique aspects of our community. This year’s People’s Fair features great programs and exhibits from our public schools and community groups – this is an event you won’t want to miss!

5:00 pm Duniya Drum & Dance - Duniya Drum & Dance brings to the stage high energy rhythms and dances from Guinea West Africa. Lead by Master drummer Fode Bangoura, Duniya will get your heart racing and your feet stomping. Please join us in celebrating the joy and beauty of African drum and dance.

5:30 pm Mu Daiko Taiko Drummers- . Mu Daiko is a part of Mu Performing Arts, and performs throughout the Midwest area and has traveled as far a field as Alaska and Taiwan

6:00 pm South Metro Dance Academy – Performing a universal lyrical dance to “We Are the World”, Spanish Ballet, A French Tap number, “Bless the Beasts and the Children” Ballet, and “Wind It Up” in a Dutch Attire!

6:30 pm Holly’s Centre Stage Dance - Holly's Centre Stage has been offering dance in Lakeville for over 10 years.  They will be featuring their spring performance.
