Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra Coming to Perform in Lakeville

The Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra (CVRO) launches Christmas with a seasonal performance of Tschaikowsky's Nutcracker Suite directed by Dr. Paul Niemisto. The performance will be enhanced with narration along with colorful graphics of art and dance projected on a screen. The program will be performed on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. at the .

The narration by Philip Spensley, a seasoned actor and director from Northfield, will set the stage for the exciting story of Clara and her Nutcracker doll.  The orchestra will perform the Nutcracker Suite live on the Lakeville Area Arts Center stage. CVRO has performed the complete ballet live for several seasons in a row at the Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing in cooperation with the Continental Ballet of Bloomington.
