Spring Fever Lake Marion Ice-Out Watch: March 16

Thanks to temperatures near 70 that are expected to persist for a week or more, Lake Marion's cover of ice will melt in the next few days—and that's nearly a month early.

This year? Thanks to a spring-fever inducing heat-wave with temperatures already soaring near 70, and expected to stay there for the next week or so, ice-out on Lakeville's Lake Marion is expected in the next couple days.

 will be snapping photos form the boat launch at  until the ice is gone. The east side of the lake, nearest Antlers Park, has less ice then the west side.
