Pet of the Week: Dolly is Funny, Fearless

Dolly is not a typical timid Chihuahua—she is going to enjoy a very active family with some kids 8 and up and another dog to play with.

Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues.

Dolly is a very social, outgoing Chihuahua who was rescued from a shelter and is in foster care hoping for her forever home soon. She is about 8-10 months and weighs 11 pounds.

Dolly is not a typical timid Chihuahua—she is going to enjoy a very active family with some kids 8 and up and another dog to play with. She loves attention and will spring into your lap and give you kisses.

She likes men and women equally. Dolly has a very fun personality and isn't afraid of anything. She just runs from person to person to get petted. According to Dolly, the more action the better!

Her ideal home with have a stay at home parent, kids 8 and up, another playful pooch and a fenced yard so she can play outside. She enjoys going for walks too. She is crate trained and is house trained on a schedule. Dolly is in foster with Happy Hound Rescue in Prior Lake.
