Easter is fast approaching and families will soon gather to celebrate the holiday in many fashions. If you’re planning to gather around the table this Easter and don’t want to fuss with the preparation and clean-up of a family-sized meal, try these Patch Picks for area restaurants that feature some great Easter Brunch options. But don’t be a tortoise, reservations typically fill fast, so hop to it and plan ahead to ensure the best available times.

Easter Brunch Menu Sampling:  Dijon pork loin, chicken penne pasta, popcorn shrimp, tilapia, mac ‘n’ cheese, corn dogs, carved prime rib and ham, eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, omelette station, crab claws, peel & eat shrimp, pickled herring, deviled eggs, creamy hash browns, garlic mashed potatoes, raspberry bread pudding and chocolate éclairs.

Price: Adults - $27.95; Kids 12 and under - $13.95. Times: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Seating on the hour.

 Comfortable and casual with a classy feel, Rudy’s features an ambiance of rich red walls and dark mahogany floors with full bar service. Opened on Kenrick Avenue in 2006.

 Easter Brunch Menu Sampling: Omelettes to order, waffles, fresh fruit, salads and Danishes, carving station, shrimp cocktail, hot entrees, desserts and more.

 Popular and fun buffet restaurant in Edina serves up fresh and healthy fare that’s vegetarian-friendly but with plenty of choices for everyone.

 Easter Brunch Menu Sampling: Scrambled eggs, baked eggs, bacon, sausage, brunch potatoes, chicken fajitas, French toast, waffles, red beans and rice, vegetarian refried beans, warm cinnamon rolls, muffins, cookies, peach cobbler, baked chicken, 50-foot salad bar.
