Pizza Ranch – What kid doesn’t like pizza and chicken? Lakeville’s newest restaurant features an all-u-can eat pizza and chicken buffet. There is plenty of stuff on the salad bar as well to ensure a well-balanced meal. An indoor basketball court can help the young ones stay active if they feel the need to run around – or take on Mom or Dad in a game of H-O-R-S-E.

Teresa’s – This Lakeville favorite is popular for its Mexican dishes, margaritas and friendly service. There’s plenty of fiesta to go around for the kids as well. And Teresa’s reputation for speedily getting food on the table will help with wait times and ensure the kids are fed fast.

Harry’s Café – Harry’s Café is a great stop before taking in a movie across the street, but it’s also a great family destination anytime. Kid’s love the planes incorporated throughout the restaurant and there’s plenty to choose from on the kids’ menu. Dessert? Colossal cookies and decadent chocolate creations of all sorts can reward a clean plate.

Buckboard – This traditional Lakeville diner knows how to treat kids right. Try a smiley-face pancake and bacon plate or go all out with strawberry and ice cream waffles. Start your family day with a hearty breakfast and you’ll have loads of energy and set a fun tone for a day at the lake.

Molly Cool’s – The décor is cool, and so is everything else. Kids eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays and there’s plenty of eye-candy to keep them entertained. If that doesn’t work, try plopping down some raw oysters on the table and let the fun begin. You can amaze the kids with your slurping ability and they might just try one as well.
