Patch Match: Kids 'n Kinship Seeks Mentors for Youth

Each week, Lakeville Patch will post the profile of a child on the waiting list for a mentor with Kids 'n Kinship, a Dakota County-based organization that matches kids with adult mentors.

Interests: She enjoys gymnastics, art & craft projects, baking cookies, going to the park, playing all sorts of games, and watching movies. 

Personality/Characteristics: Lily is outgoing, talkative, charming and sweet. She lives with her single mom and older sister.

For More Information: This child is one of over 50 children currently waiting for a mentor through Kids ‘n Kinship, a private non-profit serving Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville and Rosemount in Dakota County for 40 years. If you're interested in becoming a mentor, you're invited to attend an information session on Jan. 12, 6-6:45 p.m. at the Burnhaven Library in Burnsville. Mentors can volunteer as individuals, couples, or families for weekly fun and enriching activities at home or in the community on their own schedules.
