Ladies' Grand Day in St. Paul - Monday, September 12

This tour is for the ladies! We’ll meet a local guide who will reveal the history of St. Paul. View the Victorian mansions along Summit Avenue where the Governor’s Mansion and James J. Hill House are located. Your guide will give a brief tour of the magnificent St. Paul Cathedral and the State Capitol. Tour the City Hall and the Ramsey County Court building. After our tour, we’ll arrive on popular Grand Avenue for lunch at Tavern on Grand in The Lake Room. On the menu: walleye, baby red potatoes, vegetable salad and beverage (for those who do not want walleye, preorder a chicken entrée.) For dessert, we’ll travel to Izzy’s for an ice cream treat (on own.) Izzy’s is known for making the richest, creamiest and unbelievably delicious homemade ice cream you will ever eat. Invite your mothers, sisters, or girlfriends to enjoy this trip with you or come alone and meet some new friends. Leave the Lakeville Senior Center at 9:30 a.m. and return at approximately 4:15 p.m. Cost is $43.25, payable by August 26.
