Lakeville Park and Recreation Calendar Features 'Snowshoe Rental'

Each week Lakeville's Parks and Recreation Department offers classes and programs for Lakeville residents to take part in. Here's a list of upcoming events.

Little Dippers

For ages infant-5 yrs old with adult. Enhance your children’s water competence. Friday, September 23, 30 and/or Oct. 7 from 10:30 a.m.-noon at Lakeville Family Swim School, 10491 165th St. W., Lakeville. $9/per adult/child, $2 for each additional child per session. Learn to Skate Program

Indoor skating lessons for ages 3-adult. One hour lessons are held on Tuesday mornings and afternoons, January 3-February 21 and on Saturday mornings, January 7-February 25. Several skating level times are offered. Lessons are held at Hasse Arena, 8525 215th St., Lakeville. $89/session and $125/P.A.L.S.level. Registration begins December 17.

Weekdays: Monday-Friday, 4-9 p.m.

Weekends: Saturdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sundays, noon to 8 p.m.

Holidays:

December 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, January 2, 16, 23 & February 20, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

December 24, 31, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Closed—December 25

Inclement Weather

Find the map at www.lakevillemn.gov, or call us at 952-985-4600 and we will mail you one.

Call the hotline at 952-985-4690, option #1. A decision on the status of rinks will be made one hour before the scheduled opening of rinks.

Snowshoe Rental

Snowshoes are available for rent. Call 952-985-4600 to reserve a pair or for more information and availability. $3 per pair/per day, 3-day minimum on weekends. Deposit $75 per pair. Three sizes to choose from; up to 150 lbs., up to 200 lbs., and up to 275 lbs. Pick up and return snowshoes at: Lakeville City Hall, 20195 Holyoke Ave. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park

For ages 6-12. Join us on Wednesday, December 28 for a “jumping” great time at this brand-new indoor park! Bus pickup is at noon and drop off is at 3:45 p.m. at North Park, 17100 Ipava Ave. Cost is $25/person. Sky Zone requires a signed waiver form to participate. Contact the Lakeville Parks & Recreation Dept. to obtain a form. Registration deadline is Wednesday, December 21.
