For ages infant-5 yrs old with adult. Enhance your children’s water competence. Friday, September 30, October 7 and/or 14 from 10:30 a.m.-noon at Lakeville Family Swim School, 10491 165th St. W., Lakeville. $9/per adult/child, $2 for each additional child per session. Mother-Son Afternoon of Fun - Sports Traing Camp!

Boys ages 10 and under, accompanied by an adult. Sports enthusiasts and their mothers (or aunts, older sisters, grandmothers, caregivers, etc.) are cordially invited to attend a fun-filled afternoon with inflatables, music, dancing, lots of sports games and more on Saturday, October 8 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Rosemount National Guard Armory and Community Center, 13885 South Robert Trail, Rosemount. Each couple will receive a special photo taken together. Hot dogs, popcorn and snacks will be served. Cost is $30 per child/adult, and $10 each additional child. Registration deadline, September 30.

Haunted Forest Volunteers

Over 100 volunteers help to make the Haunted Forest Festival a tremendous success each year, so we are hoping you will help! Interested volunteers should call 952-985-4610 to receive a volunteer packet with full details. Completed packets need to be returned to Parks & Recreation by October 7.

Water Aerobics

For adults. All individuals benefit from water aerobics. Tues. & Thurs., October 18 -December 1, 7:15-8:15 p.m. at Lakeville Family Swim School, 10491 165th St. W., Lakeville. Cost is $55.

Great Reactions - (No School ISD #194)

For grades 1-5. Join Science Explorers as we discover the fascinating world of chemistry. Please dress so you can get messy for this fun, hands-on class. Thursday, October 20, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at North Park, 17100 Ipava Ave., Lakeville. Cost is $20.

Learn to Skate Program

Indoor skating lessons for ages 3-adult. One hour lessons are held on Tuesday mornings and afternoons, October 25 -December 13 and on Saturday mornings, October 22 -December 17 (no lessons on 11/26). Several skating level times are offered. Lessons are held at Hasse Arena, 8525 215th St., Lakeville. $89/session and $125/P.A.L.S. level.
