Fundraiser for Lakeville Woman Who Needs Brain Surgery is Oct. 19

Lori Williams suffers from a disorder that causes chronic pain and involuntary muscle spasms.

A fundraiser for Lakeville resident, Lori Williams, is Saturday at Babe's Sports Bar and Grill in Lakeville.

Williams has suffered multiple disorders since she was involved in three car accidents, none of which were her fault, Sun Thisweek reported.

The disorders, according to the paper, are "torticollis and dystonia, progressively debilitating conditions that cause uncontrollable muscle spasms and upper body contortions that leave her in excruciating pain."

Williams is currently in a wheelchair. A brain surgery, which will be conducted in Chicago, offers Williams and her family some hope. The fundraiser would help fund trips to Chicago in preparation for surgery, a motorized wheelchair and medical bills.

Fundraiser Details:

Date: Saturday, Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
