UPDATE: Lakeville Under Flash Flood Watch Through Monday Night

UPDATE SUNDAY 9 P.M.: The tornado watch and flood advisory for Dakota County have expired.

The flash flood watch will continue in effect through Monday evening.

Here is the National Weather Service forecast for Sunday night, Monday and Tuesday:

• Sunday night—Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 62. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
• Monday—Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 10am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 10am and 4pm, then a chance of showers after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Monday night—Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Tuesday—Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy, with a high near 70. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Tuesday night—Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy, with a low around 51. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
