A Winter That Refuses to Let Go

The region saw another inch of snow Wednesday morning.

The 2010-2011 winter is already the third snowiest ever recorded by the National Weeather Service. It's also becoming the winter that won't let go.

The sun angle on April 20 is the same as the sun angle on August 21, according to the NWS. August snow is hard to imagine, so maybe that's why snow in late April is so bothersome.

Yet the region was blanketed by another inch of late-season snow Wednesday morning.
