10,000 Facebook Shares: Yellow Lab Missing from Lakeville Found in Farmington

Harley's owner credits social media for helping locating the dog.

A Lakeville yellow lab who went missing last week turned up in Farmington Sunday, and the dog's owner is crediting social media for finding him.

"There is no doubt that social media found our Harley," Kevin Renville posted on Facebook after his original "lost dog" post generated more than 10,000 shares. (One of those shares was by Arika Hage on the Lakeville Patch Facebook page.)

"We were blessed with a phone call last night around 10:00 pm from Castle Rock Kennels in Farmington," Renville wrote Monday morning. "HARLEY IS HOME !! He is very exhausted from his adventure, but he is currently receiving a lot of love from family and appears that he is very excited to be home. We would like to thank everyone that shared their sincere concern, and helped spread the word."
