Lakeville Schools Approved to Become Statewide Online School Provider

LinK12 was approved by the Minnesota Department of Education on Aug. 8.

This past spring, Lakeville Area Public Schools submitted an application to the Minnesota Department of Education to become an approved statewide online school provider. The application was approved on Aug. 8 and the school will open this fall.

Link12 Lakeville is a public school option for any student in Minnesota, not just those within Lakeville school boundaries. This newly approved program will serve grades K-12 and deliver comprehensive, and supplemental programming.

LinK12 will offer general education, advanced courses, recovery, and diploma completion. The goal of LinK12 is to meet the needs of a wider variety students and families by providing a more flexible learning environment through anywhere, anytime learning.
