CKC Good Food Awards $500 Scholarship to Lakeville Resident

CKC Good Food, a premier school food service vendor based in South St. Paul, Minn., has awarded a $500 scholarship to Lakeville resident Danika Johnson, a recent graduate of Life Academy in Bloomington. Johnson is one of six seniors in the Twin Cities to receive a $500 scholarship from CKC Good Food to pursue post-secondary education in nutrition or food science at a university, college or trade school.

While at Life Academy, Johnson participated in drama, art and soccer, and received Life Academy’s Honors Certificate and its Academic Excellence Award. Outside of school, she has been active in her church youth group. Johnson plans to attend Normandale Community College in the fall.
