Learn about Public Speaking with Toastmasters

Heritage Library Afternoon Book Group


The book group meets at Heritage Library at 12:30 p.m. This month's selection is Kindred by Octavia E. Butler. The group meets on the first Thursday of each month.

Diva Night at Life Wellness Center

Enjoy an evening of food, wine and massages at Life Wellness Center from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A donation to 360 Communities is encouraged but not required to attend. Life Wellness Center is located at 10551 165th Street West in Lakeville.

School of Rock Free Music Class

This free 60 minute class is for 1st and 2nd grade students and will give them a chance to check out different instruments and learn about School of Rock. The class starts at 5:30 p.m. and is located at 14300 Buck Hill Road in Burnsville.

Big Apple Toastmasters: Learn Public Speaking

Author Jeff Gaines will speak about the importance of having good communication skills. Attendees will also be able to observe and participate in Toastmasters meeting demonstration. The event will be held in the Edina Realty Building at 7580 160th Street West in Lakeville. It starts at 6:30 p.m.

Wine Gala for American Lung Association

Proceeds from the gala will benefit the American Lung Association. The event includes wine tasting and a silent auction. It starts at 7 p.m. at the Crystal Lake Golf Club in Lakeville, 16725 Innsbrook Road. Purchase tickets online.
