Lakeville North Receives Donation from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota

The donation is part of the company's Dollars for Doers program.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota donated $250 to Lakeville North High School, the Lakeville Area Public School District announced.

The company donated the funds as part of its Dollars for Doers program on behalf of Blue Cross and Blue Shield employee Karin Stokes for her volunteer work at the high school.

In the Dollars for Doers program, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota donates $250 to the eligible nonprofit where an employee volunteers 40 hours or more in a year.

"Through the Dollars for Doers program, our employees can make an even greater impact on their communities," Michael Jones, director of internal communications and community relations, said in a statement. "Blue Cross is pleased to support their efforts."
