Lakeville North Faces Eden Prairie in State Football Tournament

After the football game, catch a play at the Lakeville Area Arts Center: "Trials, Tribulations and Christmas Decorations."

Make & Take: Duct Tape Crafts

Heritage Library is hosting a craft activity that has duct tape as the material of choice for creating cell phone cases, wallets and more. The activity is geared toward youth ages 11-16. It starts at 10:30 a.m.

Homeschool Pottery

The class is scheduled for Fridays through Dec. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Children ages 6 and older can participate in the class, where they will work at the wheel and learn about other techniques in pottery. Lakeville Area Arts Center offers the class for $60. Registration is available online.

Football

Lakeville North will play its first game in the Class 6A state tournament on Friday. The team will face top seeded Eden Prairie at the Metrodome in a game that starts at 5 p.m.

Trials, Tribulations, and Christmas Decorations

Expressions Community Theater is showing a production at the Lakeville Area Arts Center. The description of the play is below: 

Kim’s widowed dad, John, is a grinch, and she’s decided to break him out of his rut by inviting several unwanted guests. When they all get iced in together, seasonal madness ensues, and it’s a Christmas John will never forget!

Tickets are $13.

  • Nov. 8-9, 15-16, 22-23 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Nov. 10, 17, 24 at 2 p.m.
