Interim Lakeville Police Chief: John Kornmann
He's the department's top sergeant, according to Sun This Week, but he won't be a candidate for the permanent chief position to replace the retiring Tom Vonhof.
Lakeville Police Sgt. John Kornmann will serve as interim chief of the department after Chief Tom Vonhof retires at the end of September, Sun This Week reported.
Kornmann, the department's top sergeant who has served with the Lakeville police for 17 years, is not in the running to fill the chief position, City Administrator Steve Mielke told the newspaper.
