Viewfinder: Lakeville's Arbor Day Tree Sale

City of Lakeville sold 329 trees during their annual Arbor Day tree sale.

Lakeville residents had the opportunity to purchase trees from the city during Lakeville's annual Arbor Day tree sale.

Folks interested in buying a tree had more than a month to order their trees, but just one day—April 30—to pick them up.

The tree sale is a cost effective way to buy trees, according to Kevin Miller, a member of the Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Committee. The city also encouraged residents to consider ordering Autumn Blaze Maple trees for donation to the city parks.
